Spring clean: third Sunday every month, 11am
Lands Village Hall
Join us on our monthly Spring Clean and help to tidy up the local environment, improve facilities and take some pride in where we live. The Spring Clean group achieve this while socialising and enjoying some time doing something different. For example, having a Sunday morning stroll, litter–picking with friends, is a great way to walk the dog and get some exercise. Also, helping to put in bedding plants on the village green is great for catching up on what everyone is doing.
We invite residents to join us for a brief Sunday morning walk. You can chat to neighbours, walk your dog, and do something to remove waste from our local environment.
The group meets at Lands Village Hall at 11am for a briefing on the third Sunday of the month. On each day, we target a specific area or task. For example, a session might involve a litter pick, light village maintenance, or gardening. This helps to keep the activities varied, interesting and accessible. Following each session, we return to Lands Village Hall for refreshments.
The sessions are free to join, and above all, everyone is welcome to take part. If you are concerned that you might not be able to take part in an activity, contact us first to discuss.
